A Search For Black Jeans
So, I bought this pair of black jeans from a warehouse sale a couple of months ago. I liked them. A lot. I wore them for a bit, and then I chucked them in the wash, and the zip broke. Hooray. And since then, I have not been able to find a zip that is short enough for the fly. Which is rather annoying, because even though those jeans only cost $30, it’s going to cost me about $100 to find a replacement pair.
Today I tried on some Levis 577’s at David Jones. They were on sale for $95. Not too bad price wise, and they looked rather sturdy. Only thing was, when I tried them on, they were so skinny that I felt like circulation was being cut off from my feet. Obviously not a good sign. So, I regretfully took them off, and gave them back to the sales assistant. I quite liked those jeans. If they hadn’t been so tight, I probably would have bought them.
I didn’t really have time to look elsewhere, but this search for a new pair of black jeans will continue. Stay tuned for more compelling installments of my search. (And, yes, that was intended to be semi-sarcastic.)
